HILARY MCINTYRE is something of an embittered spinster, and cousin of ELENOR MURDOCH. She is in charge of the kitchen. Approached by her cousin, she agreed to take on TESSA KING as a trainee in all things to do with the kitchen. She is very hard on the trainee, in part to show no favouritism and in part because she thinks this is the way to bring people on. It is also her nature. After all, this is how she herself was treated.She also seems to regard STEVE JANTZEN as lazy and shouts out him constantly. Yet his murdered wife SAMANTHA JANTZEN worked well enough in the servery.
