Prayers: God's Name

From the Guru Granth Sahib 51

I ever remember God's Name in my mind.
Thus I save all my associates and friends [from worldly pains and miseries]:
The Guru is ever with me and near me.
Over and again, I remember Him and constantly
meditate on Him (Pause)
Your doings are sweet [agreeable and pleasing] to me.
Nanak asks for the wealth of God's Name.

From the Guru Granth Sahib 77

The rays have merged in the sun, the drop in the running water;

The light has merged in the tight and I am perfected.

Now I see God, hear God and utter the Lord´s Name alone.

Alt is the manifestation of the creator-Lord, and there is none else, but God.

The Lord creates and Himself enjoys doing it, for He alone is the Cause of causes.

Nanak prays: 'He alone knows the mystery who has drunk the nectar of the Holy Name.'
