Witch Flying was painted in March 2022 in acrylic on to a base drawing using coloured pens. Image is 1600 by 1200 pixels and displayed reduced (37.5%). It is part of the Barmaids group of pictures.
This was painted after a long gap in painting anything and resulted from a request by the subject. I had a weakened leg and wasn't able to sit on hard seats for long periods.
She grips the light sabre to turn it around with wrist action. It will point downwards instantly if anyone were to challenge her. I preferred this to an ordinary grip, and of course she is a witch.
