The source is a naturist couple with their photograph online. The background comes partly from a view of trees from near Queens Gardens looking towards Hull College.

Nude Couple in the Wood was first considered complete on 9th September 2020 but there was an unfortunate unintended dark band across both characters' hips and his manhood seemed unsatisfactory as modelling.
