Outlander Based Grouping (Two Paintings)

At Castle Leoch is an acrylics painting supported by coloured marker pens and fibre tipped pens on a 30 by 40 cm canvas, completed on 9th July 2020. The model chose to impersonate a scene from Outlander in which 'Claire' looks into a hall at Castle Leoch. I put the candles back into the picture. The image at 920 by 1200 pixels is shown at 50%.

The drawing used coloured marker pens and fibre tipped pens on a 30 by 40 cm canvas. The model arranged this pose on the 8th July 2020 and I then drew it on the same day with the candlabra taken from the model's source Outlander picture featuring Caitriona Balfe as 'Claire' inside 'Castle Leoch'. The image is 920 by 1200 pixels and displayed reduced (50%).

At Craigh na Dun is from a couple of similar poses from the model, with the addition of standing stones as inspired by the Outlander series. This is an acrylics painting, assisted by fibre tipped pens in the drawing, on a medium 30 by 40 cm canvas and completed on 11th July 2020. (The drawing was unsuccessful and needed painting over - thus no drawing picture that is separate.)
